39 euros, this includes a yoga class with live music followed by an apéro with our home made cocktail/mocktail & a few bites.

All proceeds go to charity, viz. Shangrila Home for Kids in Nepal.

Live Sitar music will be performed by Nicolas Mortelmans who has been taught in India by Anoushka Shankar.

Who is this event for?

Atelier Du Mon is inviting their entire yoga community to share an evening of yoga, live music and soulfood, while raising money for those in need. This is such an important part of yoga, and it will help us grow both individually and as a community.

All levels are welcome to join Denies and Kim, for one or both classes.

What is the goal with this event?

Kim has been working for Shangrila Home on a voluntary basis for 5 years now. Although they have a lot of sponsors who have kept their projects alive for over 25 years, COVID has been extra tough on third world countries. Also Shangrila Home is in need of extra money. Not only for their kids, but also the community: their employees, families, neighbours, ...

Shangrila Home vzw is an Antwerp based nonprofit organization with 2 projects in Gokharna, Nepal. The long-term childcare was first established in 1995 with only 11 children, now there are over 80.

The 2nd project: YRP (Youth Rehabilitation Program) is a transit home which offers a second chance to adolescents living on the streets through temporary shelter, informal education, occupational therapy, skill-trainings and job-placement.
